My name is Mattia Ruth Levy, and I'm 18 years old. I live in Canada and love it, although I am desperate to travel, especially to Italy and New Zealand. My favorite places in Canada have to include Calgary and Montréal, both places which I have full intentions of living either during university or after. I'm a good student; my favorite subjects being English, Archeological History, Microbiology, and Creative Writing. I love to go bicycling, snowboarding, and surfing when weather permits, and I hang out with my friends and my wonderful boyfriend as much as is possible. I'm really into art, and hope to some day travel to Europe and see all of the works that I can, especially those by Boticelli. I write a lot; staying mostly within the genres of Dark Fantasy and Horror, which crosses into the borders of such authors as Anne Rice, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Robert Jordan, all of which I am a huge fan. I also am interested in such authors as Stephen King, Agatha Christie, J.K. Rowling, and Christopher Rice, along with any philosophy I can get my hands on, and all of the classics. Some of my favorite books (of which there are many) would have to be The Vampire Armand, The Lord Of The Rings, Memoirs of a Geisha, and Vanity Fair. I love movies, and thoroughly enjoy anything truly scary, and also action/sci-fi films. I'm very open minded, I love to meet new people, and I'm always ready for a new challenge. I love doing crazy things, such as roof-jumping in the dead of winter, rubber-maiding in October, and bungee jumping inside malls. I'm infatuated with rum, (though it doesn't contribute to my spontaneous side) and if it's available to me; Jack Daniels, Chivas Regal, and Alexander Keiths.

I have been working as a Pharmaceutical Technician for over a year now, and am enjoying every moment of it. When I was hired I was not expecting myself to enjoy it so thoroughly, and am actually even now considering going into pre-Pharmacy or Med School. I am also hoping to become a novelist, since I have loved to write ever since I was little. I have never been one to share my work with many, as they stand in various forms of incompletion and pre-editing stages, but those whom truly care are free to read any amount of my written work as they like, and those who have haven't complained too much on the matter (besides the annoyances of my messy hand-writing).
